Hotel Nella - La Spezia

This place really exceeded my expectations! I loved relaxing by the sunny terrace and soaking up the peaceful garden vibes after a busy day exploring. The only downside was that my room felt a bit outdated, but honestly, it didn't take away from my experience at all. 😊

Functional place to stay with unbeatable location up the hill from La Spezia and good food. Location not far from the common areas as well as a nice local restaurant with tasty fish. A wide array of food in the hotel, attached restaurant.

Very good stay on vacation. Traditional hotel in a fairly quiet area right by the outskirts of La Spezia and the hill above La Spezia in a calm place...

Consider enjoying breakfast on the shared terrace for a refreshing start to the day.

I ate at a great restaurant for evening meals.

The staff really were great . One time, I had a problem finding a restaurant because of a soccer game and the lady at the reception not only helped me look for one, she offered to share her own dinner with me. That kind of kindness sticks with you.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but the experience justified the cost.

Courtesy staff , tried to understand with my weak English , stopped for 3 nights , there is parking free places have always been , most suitable who travels by car , the room was cleaned every day all cleaned up a little cozy little shower , across the street there is a local restaurant with locals very atmospheric , outside there are tables fashionably sit to breathe mountain air , breakfast was standard sandwiches , coffee . Jam, yogurt for breakfast is excellent, once took the bus to La Spezia 4 € per person for 10 minutes and not in the Centre of La Spezia, from where you can get to the towns cinque Terre 5 by electric.

Minutes 15 on the serpentine up, walking very far if you try, we missed the bus from La Spezia, had to take a taxi from the Central Station Spezia came out 15 euros :).

the hotel is just a few steps from Ristorante Lasse Maja, making it super easy to grab a bite, and if you want to explore a bit further, St Stephen's Church is only about a kilometer away with a lovely walk to start the day.

Very kind staff - especially when late checking in - no problem: if you need a snack ask for some ham and cheese and you'll be served. If you'd like to have some wine - ask for a glass or a bottle in the near restaurant (or if it's not too late - just at the hotel restaurant). For romantic natures - it is the best place we've ever been to!!!!!!)) Magnifying smell of pines, basilic and other spices!! Freshnes of sea and deep sign of pine tree forest!!!! Exeptional stay for romantic couples!!! La Specia speaks for itself!!! Perfecto!!!!

The stuff is very kind. The location is not so far to the ferry and railway train station. the best is they provide parking pot.

The location was perfect for our family getaway with couples, great to explore the beautiful Cinque Terre and enjoy outdoor activities like rock climbing and mountain biking. Breakfast was amazing, with a good spread of fruits and homemade pastries, a huge hit with the kids.

My wife says that the bathroom was quite cramped, making it difficult for everyone to get ready in the mornings.

Clean and friendly with an excellent cuisine and excellent service despite only one serving staff for dinner. Many of the residents had dinner at the Nella. Air Conditioning worked very well and was very welcome as the weather was very warm at 34 deg.

The room was quite small, but for one night stopover was OK. Bathroom again was small but clean, functional and a good shower.
